October 2009

This month was full of Football, Friends and SPREE!  I am on the Shopping SPREE Committee so that took up alot of my time.   For Halloween we went to Atlanta for a couple of days and took Colby.  This was a pretty big deal as we weren't sure how the dogs would get along.  Colby tries to be the dominiate dog.  I tried to teach her we were guest at someone elses house.  It all worked out great even though it rained the whole time.  I was excited for Colby to have a backyard to run around in.   The dogs got along great and could be found napping side by side together, so sweet.  The kids loved her because she is along smaller than Chloe and could sleep in the bed with them.  We had to take turns on who got to sleep in my bed so they could sleep with the dog.

November 2009

Thanksgiving was so special this year.  We actually spent it as an entire family in Atlanta.  Well we were missing Colby!   We decided with two more kids and four more adults after our trail period over Halloween it was best if I left her in Raleigh.  This is the First year in 12 years we decided that we spent either Thanksgiving or Christmas together as a family.   Everyone is going different directions this year so it made it special we all got together for a holiday.  It was so much fun with everyone.   Now the drive home was a nightmare.   I don't think I will ever drive on a holiday weekend like that again.  I will either come home Saturday or wait til Monday.  I ended up staying in Charlotte for the night because I went 2 miles in 2.5 hours.
